doublepost lol

Okay, I went in and pretty much cleaned up all the shit that was happening near the spawn, and then flattened out the area heading towards the cloth mall, as that area was a pain to traverse and was a primo spot for monster ambushes. It looks a bit flat and sterile now, but that just means you should build there! I also filled in the creeper holes and spruced up the beach.

After this I'm going to make a small PvP/Pokemon arena and then try to secure the area around our town the best I can. Oh yeah, and I moved the actual spawn point itself for a few reasons. Most importantly it was so nobody spawns inside the cacti again or in the water, but secondly it lets you actually use the chests inside that building I made (contrary to some Anon's signs, it wasn't the stair blocks on top of them doing that). Spawn protection is kind of a pain in the ass.

And I transplanted and colorized the Keeirby statue. It's purple now!

Now that I have a not-shitty connection, I will try it out.

Cleaned up the trees over the cloth mall and moved pixel arts into their own field. Felt better that way, but if you want them back, back they go.

Oh yeah and I mapped it, WARNING: 4 MB

ffff I'm going to have to get into this again. That map looks so... appealing, so... so tender. So innocent.

Minecraft seems to be dying more often to me. About every 20 minutes it will black screen until I kill it and restart... happened just now, too.

Huh, I have that same problem. I thought it was just Minecraft disagreeing with my graphics card (it'll handle Dragon Age and the like fine, but one or two other otherwise low-end games upset it), but if I'm not the only one...

Ladies and gentlemen, the future of server maps has arrived here.
It doesn't display areas until someone updates a block in them, and it doesn't render coloured cloth properly, but other than that it is super neato.

Thought I'd pop in and have a look, holy hell you guys have done a lot. Plus is this where that Simon made out of blocks comes from in the early Yogcast Minecraft vids comes from? o.o

The server is back up. Why didn't anyone tell me it was broken?

In addition, I will be starting a no-cheating server that will run in parallel with this one. Suggestions on which bukkit mods to install accepted.

(I will not install non-bukkit mods because that's a pain in the ass to keep updated)

Painter: Similar to the Picasso mod (which is no longer available), only not as cheap. Painting is done by clicking wool while holding dye of the desired color, and can be configured to consume the dye when used. Also unlike Picasso, it cannot cycle through the different types of stone blocks.

Disco Sheep: Because hell yes.

Bukkit currently ignores the default Minecraft whitelist, but I doubt we'd require that sort of thing on a no cheats server.

I have no need for a whitelist. We'd just have no OPs, problem solved.

Yeah, that looks good.

I don't think I want to add mods that change the functionality of the game itself (at least not TOO MUCH), but stuff like that is good.

Would the IRC relay be doable?
