Nice, glad to see you got it working. What version of Cartograph are you using? Whenever I run Cave Mode, I get blue squares for unlit caves and green for lit areas, and I'm using Cartograph 5.

It's actually MCmap. Tenshi should have the link.

Hm. Cartograph will show unlit caves, which gives me an advantage in exploring. This doesn't seem to... is Cartograph still not working?

Not for me, but knowing me, I could have just done something incredibly retarded when trying to use it.

HEY EVERYBODY

Our Minecraft map is sick (as in, ill. I also agree that it is rad). It has had a history of timetwisting, and as of yesterday it had a TON of chunk resets (essentially it just put 16x16x128 blocks of newly regenerated terrain wherever it felt like it). Also, there is a lot of biome nonsense that we got blindsided by, and my map splicing looks kind of silly.

So here's what we're doing. We're going to regenerate the map until we get one we like, and then I'll drop in the buildings and such from the last map that we want to keep. So if you want your stuff to be kept, post here.

So far we're preserving:
  • A fair amount of Dongia buildings, but probably not keeping the walls and such
  • The entirety of Flaketown, I imagine
  • Firebird's castle and Skytown
  • probably Zallastrisland, I can just grab the whole thing and dump it in an ocean
  • Probably Muterimount
  • What else?

I was going to say Link but I can rebuild him easily without the stupid obsidian frame in a place less likely to be creeper'd. I think I'm all covered; here's to the voyage into a new server.

Keep my base please, although I probably won't be on Minecraft 'till I get a better computer.

You're probably going to have to build a giant obelisk marking exactly where it is. I still don't know.

Ditch my shit. It's kind of a big hole, so it's inconvenient to move. Nothing of value will be lost.

Will do.
Look around Flake's tower (out of the 3 towers) farthest from the spawn point.

Ditch Muterimount, keep Lava Mountain. Also place everything so that the railway will be right next to spawn and easily lead anywhere.
